Your Pads Need a Break
The brake pads on your e-bike will eventually wear out. When this happens, it's time to replace them!
ZUGO comes with two different kinds of brakes–older bikes would have had Version 1 (V1) brakes, while all bikes today have Version 2 (V2) brakes.
Brake Pad V1
The V1 brake caliper is in the shape of an "8,". The pads are about 40mm long and 17mm wide. ZUGO sells red brake pads for the V1 model.
Brake Pad V2
The V2 brake caliper has a less rectangular brake pad and a more round center. It measures about 30mm long and 19mm wide.

Still not sure which brake pads to order?
Check your brake lever. If it's mounted with two bolts, it's a V1, and if it's attached with one bolt that's tucked away, it's a V2.
Our brake pads come in a set. Order 2 pads if you need a set to replace front or rear brakes.
