ZUGO Step-Thru E-Bike FAQs
Step thru bikes are the best option for you if you’re having a hard time alighting and riding a bike. The step thru takes out the top tube of the frame for ease of access when it comes to riding, overall offering a more comfortable riding experience to anyone needing it.
The step thru ebike knows no genders, as it’s available to anyone that wants and needs it.
Step through bikes are not unstable, although the center of gravity is a bit different from the typical bike since the top bar or top tube is taken out. The riding style pushes the body to be more upright, while pedaling feels as if you’re lifting your knees than kicking at the back.
The main difference between the step over and the step through is the frame build, with the step over having a top bar/top tube while the step through has none. The difference is mostly reliant on the fact that the step through electric bike offers ease of access whenever you alight or ride the ebike.
This is a common misconception since there’s a piece of metal pulled out from the typical bike frame build. Truth is, step through ebikes are just as sturdy as normal ebikes. Engineers have perfected this frame build to ensure that no problems will occur despite the slight changes on build. Everything is accounted for when it comes to tension and pliability of the metal, ensuring the rider is safe at all times throughout the ride.
Yes you still can, you would just need to get a bike frame adaptor or top tube adaptor to make up for the missing top tube on the step through bike. No need to get yourself a new rack or bike for this predicament, as this adaptor will ensure that your bike is safe on the rack no matter what.
You must be at least 16 years of age to ride a ZUGO Bike ebike, whether as a driver or passenger.
Children below the age of 16 may lack the necessary physical attributes, skill and judgment to safely operate an ebike.
Different localities may have specific rules and regulations that can require ebike riders to be above 16 years of age. Always check for the rules and regulations regarding rider age in your locality.
